RickR
Do you have any left in your area? Please list them here! In Oregon, we have two that I know of. Here's a nice write up for Video Horizons, which is in the coastal town of Astoria. Not surprisingly, their most popular video is "The Goonies" which was filmed there. https://www.oregonlive.com/living/2024/06/astoria-is-home-to-one-of-the-last-remaining-video-rental-stores.html?utm_campaign=theoregonian_sf&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook And of course, Bend, OR (in the middle of the state) has the very last "Blockbuster" store. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockbuster_(Bend,_Oregon) Justin, DegasElite and MaximumRD 2

TrekMD
If there are any left in Miami, I have not seen them! I ran a search and the only ones that came up were adult video stores (!) or video equipment rental stores! Justin
@MaximumRD wasn’t there one close to you where you used to get physical media from? DegasElite and MaximumRD

Yes fairly close, the small family store I helped kick off with my collection I sold them (practically gave away) when we first arrived here in Kelowna over 20 years ago. Though I've not been there in many years and not sure if they are still running. The last few times we went by, they seemed close for renovations, but not sure if they ever re-opened. Other than that, the only other store was a Blockbuster that closed a long time ago. Man, it's hard to believe how long we have been here in Kelowna B.C. already. Darn, just checked. It was Leo's videos on Pandosy. Looking at their Facebook page, seems they have been closed some time. 😔 Closed around 2019-2020 https://www.facebook.com/leosvideos.ca/ This image from their page, showing inventory now all for sale (at the time it was posted back in 2020, bet some of my old VHS are there) Ah well, glad I was a contributor to their inventory 2o years ago, I bet many of my old library were rented and enjoyed over the years and that's what matters. And who knows? Whoever bought from them as they were closing up may still enjoy them. sramirez2008
We still have four locations of Movie Exchange here in Houston. Ran a search and they appear to be it. Somehow I expected the 4th largest city in the US to maybe have a few more stores, but I guess the mom & pops just can't compete with the likes of Amazon. ☹️ MaximumRD and DegasElite
TrekMD
There's always a section of PRGE that is done by the last Blockbuster Video that still exists! It's always cool to visit that area at PRGE.
