For this challenge we're taking a look at the 7800 port of Block 'Em, Sock 'Em! This is a cross-platform challenge. Play on the VCS, 2600+ or original 7800! Published by the Immortal John Hancock and coded for the 7800 by Darryl Guenther, Block 'Em, Sock 'Em is a block throwing puzzle game. Destroy boxes by throwing the box you’re holding at the same colored boxes. If you hit another block of a different color after one (or more) blocks have been destroyed, you’ll swap blocks. Get the block counter down to the goal (or lower), without running out of throws, to move onto the next level. If you have no valid throws, you’ll receive a penalty and will get a star block to be able to target any block on the game board. Continues are OK since they cost you points! The choice is yours! Marco1019 Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 I will definitely take part in this Challenge. I ran updates for my VCS last night. (I need to boost my hard drive & RAM, but I digress.) I'm also going to revisit my streaming setup for the VCS. It's fairly easy but I should figure it out. Justin and Sabertooth 2
Mockduck Posted November 4 Report Posted November 4 I have not been very good at this one yet, I think on average I got to the upper single digits/low teens when I was playing it for the video. Justin and Sabertooth 2

Sabertooth Posted November 28 Author Report Posted November 28 No where near @Yorkies TV, but 71,925 to get on the board. I haven't quite sorted the bonus triggers. The toss bonus is self-explanatory, but the block bonus eludes me. Marco1019, Yorkies TV and Justin 3
Yorkies TV Posted November 30 Report Posted November 30 Hey Sabertooth, if I remember correctly, the block bonus is if you can finish the level with less blocks than the amount required to finish the level. Justin and Sabertooth 1 1
