Wasn't sure if there was a section for this... but I figured I'd make a thread.

If you get any good atari 2600 pick up please post here...

I picked this one up on Tuesday from my local retro store Digital Press Video Games.

I love that place... has anyone been there?  It is here in Clifton, NJ.  Anyways.

Check out the unboxing or unbagging video I did that day.

I would say the condition is a 6 out of 10.

would you agree?  or should it should it be higher?

Thanks
Brent

It's in great shape.  The cart labels on Activision games were notorious for having bad glue.

My only complaint was that the store put their price sticker on it.  Stick it in a bag first guys, jeesh! ;)

Yeah the sticker thing kills me a bit but I feel the price was a pretty good one...

Yeah any suggestions for gluing the label back on?

I just use an Elmer's glue stick.   They work great and don't seem to soak through the label.

Arenafoot 32-1 wow that is impressive... i haven't played this game in awhile... i don't even know if I could score half of that many goals

It's a great game for sure. And apparently we have a master on this board. Arenafoot.

that is an impressive score... thanks for posting the link

I haven't played a hockey game in a couple of years. Is NHL '15 bad? I thought they were pretty good.

And I'm certainly not knocking Ice Hockey. HUGE fan. :spot:

Yes, our very own Arenafoot holds the record at HighScore.com: http://highscore.com/scores/Atari2600/IceHockeyPointDifference/4583

I would use a hair dryer to heat up & remove the newer store label on the back .... if it was an original sellers label I would leave it (ie Zellers,)

the cart label I would again use the hair dryer to remove whole label & use Elmer's Rubber Cement on whole label

practice on some really hammered labels though you should find good results :)
