Thrift Store Finds

The full list of games I acquired are as follows.

Myst, Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion, Catechumen, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition, Betrayal in Antara, and Gus Goes to the Kooky Carnival.

Unfortunately I cannot get Myst or Betrayal in Angara to run on my PC.

Myst is a Windows 3.1 program, so if you really want to play it on a newer PC, what you can do is install the MS-DOS emulator DOSBox, then in the emulator install Windows 3.1 (if you can get a copy), and then install and run Myst from that old version of Windows.

Here's a thread on how to do it, if you're willing to go to that kind of trouble!

As for Betrayal at Antara, this installer might work for you. (Supposed to work for XP/Vista, at least.)

Anyways, I found this stuff yesterday at my local Goodwill:

Really surprised by the MST3K DVD. I never see those anywhere!

They do if someone drops it off.  They had a beat up gameboy for 2.99, but it was REALLY beat up, bad battery compartment...no thanks.

sometimes the corrosion stays put in the battery tray even though at first look it appears really bad. but I've passed by some stuff because of it for sure !!!!

I haven't tried these yet though , I hadn't looked into the price comparison yet either http://www.energizer.com/about-batteries/no-leaks-guarantee
