Just picked up a Lynx again for the first time in a long time so I can do the McWill mod and having a run down through these great videos. Thanks for making them! Really enjoyed the Xenophobe and Checkered Flag episode. Learned quite a bit from them and even about the Ms. Pac-Man. Looking forward to some more when you make them, especially now!

Thanks for the continued episodes, looking forward to seeing more and I hold you and AtariGamer responsible for my revived fascination with the Lynx again and that's a good thing. I've got 21 NIB games on the way, most of which you have covered so far.

I agree with one exception, but that is a matter of taste. Rampage is imho a boring game in every version.

Hey BTB. Long time follower and love your content. 

Gave this game another shot after having it at the back of my stack of lynx games and am thoroughly enjoying it.  

The after experimenting I had no idea you can change to the cockpit view and had access to dumb-fire missiles.

Everything works pretty smooth as always on the Jag and after your review, I can honestly say this is one of my favorite titles. 

Its a tie with Battlewheels.  😬

I always fly outside the cockpit, but how awesome that all these years later we can dust these games off and get some enjoyment out of them.  Ive been really enjoying sharing all my games with you all, especially knowing that theses were all the games I worked my butt off mowing lawns to buy with my own money back in the early 90’s.

🎬 Atari Lynx Arcade Oddities drops today on Lynx Lounge. We come to the end of our arcade port block, but three very strange games remain. Gauntlet the Third Encounter (1990), Turbo Sub (1991) and Super Asteroids and Missile Command (1995) are indeed arcade titles, but are they ports, or something different? Let's find out:

I have never been great at Turbo Sub but I've always found it fun. 

Gauntlet is decent but as you say, it's not really Gauntlet.  It was interesting to get the background in your video. I never knew it was just rebadged Epyx developed Gauntlet clone. 

Super Asteroids/Missile Command is a terrific late release for the Lynx. I love how they updated the games. Of the two, I find that Missile Command has a bit more depth. One of my top games on these system.

I’m guessing where Gauntlet really shines is when all your buds are Lynked together and you’re all playing together.   That would have been a super cool scene back in the day.

We’ve covered all the arcade ports, and now we start a brand new series called “Heroes Run Right”. Tune in as we uncover all of the platforming side scrolling games the Atari Lynx has to offer - starting off with Todd’s Adventure in Slime World.

“Heroes Run Right”  On the Lynx Lounge stay out of the Shadows.... Shadow of the Beast is one of the best games on the Lynx hands down, change my mind...

I could never get into Shadow of the Beast for any platform. I own the Genesis version and there was a version released for the PC as well back in the day. Just...never clicked with me. I think the main issue is that the combat is more about single timed punches or kicks and I've never been fond of games with cheap deaths of which, Shadow of the beast is famous for. 

The previous game you covered, Todd's Adventures in Slimeworld is a different story. I think that game is great! Although I do tend to play my Genesis release of it more than the Lynx version.
