"Former Atari/Imagic designer Bob Smith announced at this year's Portland Gaming Expo that both he and David Crane have new VCS games planned for release by year's end! Smith's is called Dungeon and was 1st done on the Atari 800 as a test concept. Crane's is likely a Video Poker prototype he found. Tod Frye also mentioned redoing his VCS tech demos and is "seriously contemplating SwordQuest AirWorld"! "

Pitfall 3! Come on Crane! I'd like to see them do some 7800 stuff too! Maybe even 7800 XM when it finally arrives.

If that picture is of Dungeon, I'm liking what I see!

"...burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me..."-theme song (Firefly)

"I try to respect him, I really, really do, but he's just such a Smeg-head."-Lister (about Rimmer, Red Dwarf)

Pitfall 3 would be amazing!  I'd love to see something to make me forget the various platformers in the 16bit era that slapped the Pitfall name on the cart!

Well, honestly, I have to say I really enjoyed Pitfall!: The Mayan Adventure on the Jaguar, it was a slightly upgraded 16-bit port, or at least developed at the same time. I'm not sure if that's what you are referring too, and I never played any other version, maybe it was a bit better. If there were others, I don't know of them.
