that looks like a cool user group zontar. not too often you see people get together in clubs that way anymore. the newsletter even looks made on an old computer. I wonder if you have to live in their region to join the club?

@Zontar, do you know if they accept out-of-state members, and what is included with membership? For $15 I'll join up!

I like the fact that there's still an Atari group in the United States. It seems like it may be one of the last ones here in this country. I think there is one other. It's called Suburban Chicago Atarians (or SCAT), based in Glen Ellyn, IL. I don't know, however, if they are still in existence. There was another one in Cleveland, OH. I am not sure if they exist anymore either. It seems that the Atari SIGs are more entrenched in Europe, since you have big groups there like ABBUC in Germany for starters. Atari computers went over much bigger in Europe than in the US. It's too bad there aren't more SIGs here in the States.

If you want to join, it might be a good idea to talk to Lance at Video 61 and inquire about it. He might know something about it since he lives in Minnesota. That would be your best bet, I am sure.
