Welcome to our 6th Squad Challenge! Dig Dug is one of the best classic Arcade games on the Atari 7800. It was one of the launch titles developed by GCC initially released by Atari Inc. in 1984, and again by Atari Corp. in 1986. Classic Arcade titles are one of the things that makes the 7800 shine, and Dig Dug is one of the best!

I hope all of you have a good time, and remember this is for "nerd cred" and meant to be fun for all! I encourage you to share your strategies and experiences with all of us! You have until 11:59 pm PST February 29th, 2016 to complete this challenge and successfully submit your score. Please note that this Squad Challenge ends on Leap Day, so you have an extra day in February than you normally would to make your submission. The ROM is readily available online, and the Instruction Book is provided for you below. GOOD LUCK, SQUAD!

It's a bit of a long sentence but essentially says "No use of cheats ... or other unfair advantage is allowed."  :emoji-E420:

Once again the nosweargamer is dominating!  The man can play.

I love this game - the arcade ports on the 7800 were so good.  I got this cart for Christmas of 1986, along with my 7800 console, and played it to death.  I enjoy it more now that I have the eruo-pads to use instead of being stuck with the painline controllers.

At any rate - I manged to put up 131,170.  Coming for you NSG!  :)
