RickR Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Got one on ebay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vectrex-Controller-Overlay-Decal-/322134580894? The Vectrex I have didn't come with the controller decal. I think a former owner had to open the controller to fix it. Well, this repro on ebay works great, and is removable and reusable. Very nice indeed. I went with the stock color, but they make others of various colors. Before and after:
chas10e Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 looks nicer dressed like that you say it's removable, replaceable ? the link says there are printed instructions ... does it say about how many times re-application is possible ? Nice price point for the system IMHO I have seen N.O.S. ones listed on ebay a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng time ago & think they went for $14.oo ,
RickR Posted June 5, 2016 Author Report Posted June 5, 2016 Yes, there are printed instructions. It does not say how many times they can be re-done. But they seem pretty solid. I would guess if the adhesive wears out...a nice coating from glue stick would work just fine.

RickR Posted June 6, 2016 Author Report Posted June 6, 2016 they didn't cut it too good the edges look like a 1st grader cut it Nope. That's just my harsh flash and imperfect placement. It was hard to get the edges perfectly within the controller face plate. The label is perfect. RickR is not.

And her handwriting is amazing to me. Better than mine ever was! She plays 2600 with me when she comes over, which is a lot of fun.
