RickR Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 As suggested by chas10e. Post your parts needs here. Missing a rubber boot from a 2600 joystick? A salvaged joystick port? A left handlebar grip from Atari Stunt Cycle? A TI 99/4A motherboard? A cartridge shell? I'll bet someone here has it! After all, what's better than taking spare parts and rescuing a broken console or controller and sparing it from the trash? Nothing, that's what! The rule is simple...post your needs, and if someone has the part...a fair price, trade, or even just donating is all good. No price gouging please.
Clint Thompson Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 Great idea - also may be good to post what you have or no longer need as there could be things people might be able to use without even realizing they need it. I'll have to go through my stuff and see if there's anything available to offer. 7800 - 130XE - XEGS - Lynx - Jaguar - ISO: Atari Falcon030 | STBook |STe

RickR Posted August 7, 2016 Author Report Posted August 7, 2016 A small sampling of the RickR bone pile. All kinds of stuff from Atari, Coleco, XBOX, PS2, etc. Not pictured are motherboards, Game Gear parts, extra Genesis consoles, wires, connectors, etc etc etc.
RickR Posted August 7, 2016 Author Report Posted August 7, 2016 OH! I have at least one Sega Game Gear sound board whose caps have been replaced. I KNOW someone must need one of these. Also a C64 power adapter.
Atari 5200 Guy Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 Hey RickR! What size is that 360 hard drive?
RickR Posted August 8, 2016 Author Report Posted August 8, 2016 I think it's a 20 Gb. I'm do not remember if a drive is still actually in there. I will have to look.
Sabertooth Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 This is a great idea! I'm going to go through some things through the course of the week for this. I have a fair amount of random parts that someone might be able to use or harvest from. @RickR - what's going on with that Woody?
RickR Posted August 8, 2016 Author Report Posted August 8, 2016 Woody displays a black screen. Probably a tia issue. Could just be a bad solder point. I need to look closer.
Sabertooth Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 Woody displays a black screen. Probably a tia issue. Could just be a bad solder point. I need to look closer. Well, if you want to get rid of it, send me a PM. If I can't fix it, I always need switches and such.
Atari 5200 Guy Posted August 11, 2016 Report Posted August 11, 2016 @RickR: You wouldn't happen to have a model 1 Genesis AC Adapter would you? Also, what's wrong with the 410?

I would think post offers as well my kitchen table is pretty hammered or I would have snapped a pic of that Stunt Cycle shell .... the reason I hadn't cleared off table is I just noticed the handlebars on my spare Stunt cycle isn't 100% , it was dissassembled incorrectly by a previous owner but can still be repaired ( as opposed to totally missing) @RickR: You wouldn't happen to have a model 1 Genesis AC Adapter would you? Also, what's wrong with the 410? one of the many thing on my kitchen table is a working Model 1 sega /CD with both bricks
RickR Posted August 11, 2016 Author Report Posted August 11, 2016 @RickR: You wouldn't happen to have a model 1 Genesis AC Adapter would you? Also, what's wrong with the 410? I don't have an extra model 1 AC adapter I'm sorry to say. The 410 needs new belts, but otherwise works fine.
