Atari 5200 Guy Posted August 14, 2016 Report Posted August 14, 2016 I can't afford them but two copies of Secret Quest, new in box, have turned up on ShopGoodwill. I thought other Atari fans here would like a shot at them. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Atari-2600-Secret-Quest-Video-Game-Cartridge-32170777.html http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Atari-2600-Secret-Quest-Video-Game-Cartridge-32170827.html Good luck and I hope someone here will get them. I know they would be appreciated by Atari.IO members.
Rowsdower70 Posted August 14, 2016 Report Posted August 14, 2016 Unfortunately, as of late everything Atari related from Shopgoodwill gets posted on AtariAge and other facebook groups. I used to get decent deals on Atari gear on Shop Goodwill, but now they get bid up as much or worse than Nintendo.People will talk about how insane the price is, but they will also bid and bid and bid. Atari 5200 Guy Posted August 14, 2016 Author Report Posted August 14, 2016 That's what I thought. That explains the ridiculous high prices for these old games. I can understand if a console comes with games where one or two of the games are extremely rare but beyond that it makes no sense. I seen a pile of 2600 games hit over $300...and I didn't see anything to make it worth that much.
