QuintinSmith6484 Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Hello! Does anyone know where I can get my Atari 2600 fixed up? I live in North Carolina. I have a lot of games, but the system needs a few parts. Quintin
Fire_In_The_Valley Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Best Electronics has always been good to me, as has Lance at Video 61. Their number is 652-462-2500 and their website is http://www.atarisales.com/. If you don't like them, there are some other options. Other good choice is Best Electronics, they have great stuff and take great pride in their work. Can't go wrong with either of those. What's wrong with your 2600?
Doctor Octagon Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Those are pretty good suggestions. I've had good service from both.
Justin Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 Quintin, if you're in North Carolina you may want to visit Lost Ark Video Games. They're an arcade located in Greensboro specializing in classic gaming and they post to this forum. Depending on what's wrong with your 2600, it's possible they may be able to help you fix it. I can't speak for them, but they always have a ton of Atari stuff every time I go there. If you're looking for some place local they may be your best bet. Their website is http://www.lostarkvideogames.com if you want to check them out.
RetroTech Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 I've got a boneyard of 2600s I could get parts from. If you can find out what it is you need, I'd be happy to lend a hand. I post pictures and videos regularly of retro games, hardware, and mods/fixes on Instagram. Feel free to follow me @PVGLuke
DegasElite Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 Truly, Video 61 could refurbish your Atari, too. They have done a great job for me. As stated previously, Lance's web site at http://www.atarisales.com has more info.
DegasElite Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 Sorry. I didn't see the post for Video 61 right away. My bad.
