MaximumRD Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 Love this version, it speaks to me lately more than ever. In these hectic times I find it soothing to listen to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b1OwCG8WN8&app=desktop RickR, Lost Dragon, Sabertooth and 3 others 6 Quote I am Rob aka MaximumRD aka OldSchoolRetroGamer and THIS is my world http://about.me/maximumrd "For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. Sabertooth Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 This is a terrific song, MaximumRD. Thanks for sharing! I love Tears for Fears and agree that the song is definitely appropriate. That said, when I saw this in "Recent Topics" I half expected a post on the ultraviolent Wii game. Atari 5200 Guy and MaximumRD 2 Quote
Atari 5200 Guy Posted January 15, 2017 Report Posted January 15, 2017 I'm a huge fan of Tears and Go West. Both groups are rarely heard from these days so it is a nice surprise to see these guys are still performing. I have to say that I believe 1980's music will live on forever some how. Today's music just doesn't have the appeal that 1980's music did. Some of the 1990's music wasn't bad but after that it seems like it was more about the money than the music. Of course some artists aren't bad like Foo FIghters and Nickelback, maybe even Metallica and Megadeth if you prefer, but most of it just doesn't appeal to me. I'll stick with my Foghat, Kiss, Kansas, Journey, Foreigner, and the like. Awesome song! I've never heard this song before. My favorite from them has been Head Over Heels. Mom burned me on Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Shout. MaximumRD 1 Quote
Atari Adventure Square Posted January 16, 2017 Report Posted January 16, 2017 Reminds me of that acoustic Africa piece by the two acoustic guys in a small club. Low-key setting, killer version. This: I'm sure it's been posted somewhere here before, but eh bears repeating Quote
