Original Price Tags on Old Gaming Stuff

Does anybody else enjoy seeing original price tags on old game stuff?

I didn't used to. I'd be one of those guys who carefully tried to remove them.

But something has changed. Now I rather like them! (except the large ones that cover the art)

Take for instance the Ice Hockey tag only $1.99.

 

 

It looks like a drug store item...and guess what? it was!

This must have been a crash discount.

 

Also, look at this Sky Jinks:

 

 

Same price. Maybe same store. But it looks like it came from the clearance section of a grocery store. Makes me wish I had a time machine!

 

So how about you? Do you like them? Do you have any pictures to share?

Man, I love the original price stickers.  Especially if it's from a store I know (or knew).  It's also a great surprise to find original receipts inside boxes.

I like the KayBee stickers because you can tell the year they got to the store. I have one or two from 1985 I believe.

At the time, I didn't like it.  Now, I think it is part of the history of the games.  It's cool to see them.

I LOVE seeing old pricing on games!!!!! It's sometimes funny to see what they sold for knowing what we know now in both directions to be honest!!!!!

I don't have any games with price tags but my system boxes do. This is a store I got almost everything from besides Child World, both sadly gone.

Not a bad price here.  But this box needs some help.  As much as I hate to do it, tape must be used.

Here some of mine ive got more. Ill have to look at everything. The tetris one is my favorite. It doesnt look like they even took the time to put a new tag on it they just wrote a 5 over the 9. And the last one is a sealed pokemon puzzle league
