Ballblaɀer
Recently I added a few neat things to my collection, including a copy of Play Meter from 1980. This one is the annual Buyer's Guide issue, featuring all the coin-op arcade games and amusements (pinball, video, table games, wall games, cocktail tables, jukeboxes, and even kiddie rides) then available on the market. As I understand it, Play Meter was not available to general consumers -- only to game manufacturers, distributors, arcade operators, and people in the industry. It's missing six pages, but is otherwise in great (if a bit fragile) condition. It includes a number of cool full-page full-color advertisements, like these: Check out this amazing four-page spread for Bally's Viking pinball: I want a Sprint 8... look at that thing! Lots of classified ads, reviews, news... I've uploaded these and other photos (still only a fraction of the whole thing) to an album, if you're interested in seeing more, in more detail. greenween, Justin, Rowsdower70 and 3 others
