My Favorite console

Recommended Posts

I'm new to the whole console modding stuff really but not computers or repairs. When I set out to make it svideo/Composite with dual mono I loved the idea of it from NES rgb mods others were doing. It's cleaner and easy to use even the sound output for 2 ports is right there to connect it up. Did this on a few 7800s as well. Thanks for the complement.

No way I would rather fix them if that were the case. I buy them from a guy named Helder on assemblegamers forums. They are 3d printed plastic and it's own pcb. He has a few different styles, usually for NES RGB upgrades. I like it because it's like HDMI before it was, and with a well shielded scart adapters I use it works really well. I also have some really well made svideo/Composite cables that are nice too.

WOW.  I love that 5200!  Very nice and the wet sand gave a nice appearance on the 5200's shell.  I've been trying to find a way to refinish my 4-port back to the original piano shine it had but wet sanding might be another option.  She's a beauty!!

You should try "Armour All" on it.  It shines up the old consoles very nicely.
