Great video, Leo.

 

The packaging of Atari carts was really cool, with great art, slim info manuals and a nifty catalog, to stir the excitement for future gaming possibilities.

Yeah, it's quite something to behold the fact these relics of video gaming's early years are still around, prepped for modern fun.

 

The game itself is not a bad one, just misunderstood.

It has remained in my top ten 2600 playlist, to this day.

Yeah, the Hard difficulty game was nearly unplayable (the one where every single government entity came after you constantly).

But it's actually a good companion piece to the movie.

 

 

btw, jumping into a well to pause the game?

...I might start doing that in real life.

 

"Hey, where's Mr. Square?"

"He's on time-out, in a well"

"Well, that's fine then. We'll wait"

Very nice. I have a complete ET set myself, but I don't have the box. Very nice score you got there.

Same here......bought it for $4.99 from Zayre's back in 1987 ....threw out the box but kept the cart, manual, and poster.

I was thinking this too :P Want to get away from life, fall in a well. Simple as that :D
