Clint Thompson
Eh, considering the screen replacements for the Gameboys, GameGear, Lynx have all become a million times better, I see going back to the ghosting/fading screens completely unnecessary. The Genesis looks kind of cool but don't understand the slanted angle design take. McWill Modded Lynx II is where it's at =) Quote 7800 - 130XE - XEGS - Lynx - Jaguar - ISO: Atari Falcon030 | STBook |STe
dgrubb
Check it out guys! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyUNW5p8Yno They look pretty nice, and I appreciate they're putting in features which juggle modern utility (HD output, save states etc) with authenticity for the aficionados (NTSC switching). I also really like the aluminium case on the Game Boy clone. Eh, considering the screen replacements for the Gameboys, GameGear, Lynx have all become a million times better, I see going back to the ghosting/fading screens completely unnecessary. I was surprised they're using monochrome screens, precluding playing with Game Boy Colour or Super Game Boy palettes. That's a bit of shame for games like Metroid II which was designed in tandem with, and arguably best enjoyed, with the Super Game Boy. RickR
I think these look pretty nice. One question I have on the 77 and Genesis machines is this (I should probably make a new thread because it also applies to the NES and SNES re-releases too): What is the best option for displaying the HDMI output on an old CRT TV that only has composite input?
