jmjustin6 Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 I forgot to post this when they came out a couple weeks ago. Ive completed the set. In my opinion these toys are little borning compared to past mario toys from McDonald's. Im also gonna try to get a store display set Quote
RickR Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 I got a Yoshi, purely by accident. Gave it to my niece. The toys before these were from "The Incredibles 2", which I thought were really cool. I think we ended up with all but Mr. Incredible, with the best one being Edna Mode. jmjustin6 1 Quote
Control Issues Posted July 9, 2019 Report Posted July 9, 2019 I don't have many McDonald's toys in my collection, but I did get the Mario one hitting the yellow box from this set. My gf works at a thrift store and brought it home one day. I also have a red koopa shell that you pull back and let go and it runs across the floor for a bit. Think it's also a McDonald's thing, but not quite sure. jmjustin6 1 Quote

Nowadays when McDonald's toys come out in about a few weeks the thrift stores get over run with them. Quote
RickR Posted July 15, 2019 Report Posted July 15, 2019 (edited) Related, but not related: Earlier this year, McD's had "Avengers" toys that I thought were pretty cool. They also had a promotion with our local sports team for free 6 piece nuggets every time the team scored 100 points. So, my go-to the day after a Blazers win was to go to McD's and get the free nuggies and a hamburger happy meal. I ended up with about 5 or six of the Avenger toys. And also a pretty tasty lunch for about $3.50. I like how the happy meals come with apples, which is a little healthier...but it is a bit embarrassing to order a happy meal as a grown adult. Since the season ended, I haven't been to McD's Edited July 15, 2019 by RickR Atari Creep 1 Quote
jmjustin6 Posted July 31, 2019 Author Report Posted July 31, 2019 Yea since me going on a diet I have sworn off most fast food places. I havent eaten McDonald's in probably about a year or so. Buut if they come out with some Mario toys this year. You bet I'll have to go to them but only to get the toys. That food messes me up now RickR 1 Quote
RickR Posted July 31, 2019 Report Posted July 31, 2019 What I've noticed by using the automated ordering kiosks is that you can buy a toy all by itself for $2. Seems like a great deal if you don't want the food. jmjustin6 1 Quote
jmjustin6 Posted July 31, 2019 Author Report Posted July 31, 2019 I always just walk up to the cashier and ask what toys do you have. Thay always give me a strange look and say "what was that?" Then I get the toy and they ask what food did I want I'm like nope the toy is fine. They always look so confused Quote
