We're taking it easy as we cap off the year with an Atari 2600 favorite. This time we're playing Barnstorming! An Activision classic for the Atari 2600. Once again we're playing a game where we're going for the lowest possible time. If you've already played this game a million times, these difficulty settings are going to make Barnstorming spicy! PDF Barnstorming Instruction Booklet is attached below. Good luck! Barnstorming.pdf

RadioPoultry Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 I've got a question: Every time we restart the game, are we supposed to cycle through the game modes to generate a new course, or are we allowed to memorize a single generated course by only hitting "game reset" instead? Justin 1

It's not required that you cycle through. But staying with only a single generated course for the duration of the Squad Challenge would mean not powering off for two weeks. Choose the strategy that suits you best. Good luck! Atari Creep 1

RickR Posted December 16, 2018 Report Posted December 16, 2018 I'm going to use this opportunity to test out a composite-modded 2600 that I will sell. Several play sessions should verify that it works fine, right? Justin 1

Atari 5200 Guy Posted December 19, 2018 Report Posted December 19, 2018 Eh. Had controller issues. I think I need to replace the cord. It is not as flexible as it use to be. Doesn't seem to fit very well in the controller socket either. I think I will try using the 7800 Europad next, see if that helps. Justin 1
