Atari Creep Posted July 3, 2019 Report Posted July 3, 2019 Oh boy, this is a tough one!!! lol Thank god it's not a single life challenge. Control Issues and Justin 1 1 Don't just watch TV, PLAY IT!
Control Issues Posted July 3, 2019 Report Posted July 3, 2019 This IS a rough one. I'm used to playing LifeForce on the NES, but this one steps it up a notch. The enemies are so fast! Anyway, I got past the first boss once. Will play some more and hopefully improve. 45500 Justin 1
Atari 5200 Guy Posted July 3, 2019 Report Posted July 3, 2019 F-Zero was my first SNES game ever. Then this one. I have to admit that Gradius III is fun but my least favorite in the series due to a slowdown issue in later levels. I lack this game and controllers unfortunately and emulation does not do this game justice. This one HAS to be played on real hardware to truly appreciate it. Konami out did themselves on this one. It's a shame they didn't use the 16-bit technology to bring Life Force and the original Gradius over to the SNES. Atari Creep 1
greenween Posted July 3, 2019 Report Posted July 3, 2019 I haven't played this in many years. Just found a copy on ebay for $16. Looking forward to this one! Justin and Atari Creep 2 "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."

RickR Posted July 4, 2019 Report Posted July 4, 2019 20,600 for me. I need to figure out how to get by boss #1 Justin 1
Control Issues Posted July 5, 2019 Report Posted July 5, 2019 Just for the halibut... a vid of me playing the first level... it took a lot of tries while recording to get through it in one ship, and as you can see, I didn't last long afterwards. Not my best effort, but the best I had while recording. There are a few parts in there that I'm not sure how I got through. lol Justin 1
RickR Posted July 6, 2019 Report Posted July 6, 2019 Posting a score for my older son. Let's call him RickR Jr too. Neither one of us could get past that first boss. 25,800. Control Issues and Justin 2
