MaximumRD Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Atari dabbled in so many forms of tech, much of it never to reach the market or industry they were slated for. Case in point THE ATARI VIDCOM: http://www.atarimuseum.com/otherprojects/vidcom/vidcom1.html I am Rob aka MaximumRD aka OldSchoolRetroGamer and THIS is my world http://about.me/maximumrd "For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday." - M. Bison
Yo-Yo Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 There was an Atari Vidcom II also, I think it came as part of a larger boxy case and had more than one unit in it. I want to say it was intended for ambulances or something.
Atari Adventure Square Posted May 3, 2015 Report Posted May 3, 2015 Whaaa? Okay, side project - an alternate universe portal to where Atari became the magnate it was destined to be and the Vidcom and Adventure rooms all exist and we walk around with a 2600 controller model hat which features Gaming, radio, tv and web capabilities (in that order).
