Yo-Yo Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Anybody else remember this show? It ran from 1983-1989. I was just a kid then but I was a fan! Nice loving couple and a cute kid. The show was on ABC from 1983-1987 and then it was cancelled, but picked up for another few years in first-run syndication. I guess that's the 1980s version of Netflix rescuing a show. In this episode Katherine becomes obsessed with winning on a TV gameshow. Original air date December 23, 1983
RickR Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Great show. Kind of a copy of "Diff'rent Strokes". Alex Karras as the father.
Justin Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I loved this show as a kid too. I'm originally from Detroit and partial to Alex Karras. He also starred in Paper Lion, where Alan Alda (Mr. Atari) played the part of George Plimpton (Mr. Intellivision).
greenween Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 I loved Webster, remember when the evil Ben Vereen would come on to take Webster away? "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."

DeLorean Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 I loved Webster, remember when the evil Ben Vereen would come on to take Webster away? Haha greenween, I DO remember that! Webster was before my time but I remember it in reruns in my home town at 3:30 in the afternoon. I remember the dumbwaiter and Ben Vereen!
Jayson_B24 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 I got the opportunity to watch it occasionally. Atlas was permitted the opinion that he was at liberty, if he wished, to drop the Earth and creep away; but this opinion was all that he was permitted. Franz Kafka
