In truth I would take either. Honestly though, what I don't like are prequels because they lack suspense when you already know the Federation and Star Fleet survive on to at least the 29th century. But sure, lets pop an Enterprise F, G or H in there and continue on with the stories in the 25th, 26th, or 27th centuries.
