VectorGamer Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 I need to thank backin89 on that other Atari forum for awaring me on this show. When I had DirecTV I watched every episode on Universal HD. Then I bought the first 2 seasons DVD set. I watch this set annually when baseball season ends. I'm a cord cutter so I can't watch anything but the first 2 seasons. Last I checked Crackle.com was streaming but only the first 2 seasons. There are no plans on releasing DVD sets for seasons beyond season 2. I like this show more than Miami Vice because the stories were easier to follow. Plus I think that TJ Hooker captured more 80s coolness than Miami Vice. Vice is cool but I find TJ Hooker more fun to watch. I once spotted a Reactor cabinet in a TJ Hooker episode. Time's yours... ⚠️ THIS MEMBER HAS BEEN BANNED FOR THE FOLLOWING INCIDENT: http://forums.atari.io/index.php/topic/475-theretrocade/?p=7683

Atari Adventure Square Posted May 22, 2015 Report Posted May 22, 2015 Yesss! Saw the box set fly by my local used book and media shoppe. Grabbed the Airport Terminal pack instead. TJ was gone when I went back. Will get that back again. Yeah, had watched a number of shows last year and, as a fan of The Shat, was not disappointed. Great fun, great larger-than-life character with that cool 80s vibe, as you point out Vector. Though, I am an unapolegetic late-comer fan of the Vice. Rarely watched it when it was on. I was more of a Hill Street Blues'er. But grew to love it a few years back. Maybe all that time spent in GTA's Vice City, listening to the classic tracks, cruising aorund town in the sunset...
