CrossBow Posted February 14, 2021 Report Share Posted February 14, 2021 Received this from Sean Kelly in the mail today. This is a game that really shows off what the Vectrex is capable of. It is a shooter that has varied game elements 'inspired' by other games we know and loved back in the day. It is very tricky to film a Vectrex but I think I've finally got a method down for this. Requires having to use my camcorders 24fps cinema mode so that the Vectrex is drawing faster than the camera can pick up and that reduces the flicker I usually get when filming. The audio is captured straight from my Vectrex Audio Tap I have installed along with the wonderful Buzz Off! kit to remove that nasty buzz. Only asking as there have been like 3 updates to this game since I bought it with each update correcting game breaking glitches. So I've not played it too much more since I made that video. I think my cart came in a clear case and not blue colored. The cartridge is also LED lit, glowing a cool blue. As for game breaking glitches, Malban says there aren't any, Quote "In the last year “approximately” every month a new bug has been found. CrossBow Posted November 3, 2021 Author Report Share Posted November 3, 2021 I bought mine through Sean Kelley as he had them available CIB before Pakrat did. Although I did have a pre-order for one through Pakrat that I then cancelled once Sean had his for sale. Pretty sure mine was part of the first batch of the game released and I don't believe mine has an LED in it either. I think my Christmas cart from Binarystar and my Vecfever are the only carts with LEDs in them.
