RickR Posted April 28, 2021 Report Posted April 28, 2021 I took a risk and purchased an "untested" Roller Controller on ebay. The gamble paid off, as it works perfectly. It also came with one extra joystick controller -- a bonus! I've been playing "Slither". It's a lot of fun. It's similar to Centipede really. Now I just need to figure out what other games would work well with the roller! Quote
MaximumRD Posted April 29, 2021 Report Posted April 29, 2021 Cool, I still need to test mine after I get around to cleaning it. I want to try it with games not necessarily meant for it because I am weird like that! 😜 RickR 1 Quote I am Rob aka MaximumRD aka OldSchoolRetroGamer and THIS is my world http://about.me/maximumrd "For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. I also printed out a PDF copy of the manual. It's similar to the Atari 2600 trak ball in that it has a switch for "Joystick" or "Trackball" mode. So that means it should work with any game. You've got a good idea...I'll try it out with some other types of games. I also like that it improves the joystick controllers so much. The base holds the stick in place, and you can use the buttons on the face of the trackball for joystick games. I mean to say using the stick while in the base and ignoring the trackball.
