VectorGamer Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 We stopped out at 2nd and Charles over the weekend and found a bunch of boxed INTV games. - How do these guys plan on making any money on crappy Genesis sports games that nobody wants? - Has anyone tried those NES handhelds and are they any good? Thought of picking one up. - Did I overpay on Pinbot (NES)? - What do you think overall about their pricing? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgDF7RyMvv0 ⚠️ THIS MEMBER HAS BEEN BANNED FOR THE FOLLOWING INCIDENT: http://forums.atari.io/index.php/topic/475-theretrocade/?p=7683
Rowsdower70 Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 We checked out our local one in Beaumont, TX and I was underwhelmed. It's an okay kinda store, but for retro gaming, ours was terrible. The most recent stuff seems to be pretty much high end price charting. The retro selection at ours was terrible. They literally had 15 copies of Atari Combat. No uncommons at all, no INTV, no Colecovision, maybe 6 Sega Master System Games, a dozen or so NES, a big pile of SNES Sports, and less than 20 sega genesis. It was literally a tiny section of one side of a display. The handhelds look pretty sweet, not gonna lie. I'm gonna do a bit of research on those. Rowsdower70 Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 You paid a fair price for PinBot. Man I wish you woulda snagged those sealed INTV titles! To answer your question about the Space Battle, the first one was the red box (I think) and it was way harder than the 2nd (Blue Box) version. Arenafoot Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 We checked out our local one in Beaumont, TX and I was underwhelmed. No uncommons at all, no INTV, I stopped off at that 2nd and Charles last November on my way to the ArcadeExpo...........I bought all of the INTV (CIB) games they had.....my bad Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne

You got a good deal on the NES Pin Bot - i think. I saw some NES games I like..... Casino Kid, Ivan Stewarts Super Off Road, WCW, Vegas Dream The deal with the different prices on the INTV games is that they price them when they arrive - so theres different values at different times. Always compare all copies of the same title and get the best one!!! The 2NC stickers do remove easily. I bought out the Beaumont 2NC INTV games and the labels came off of all the boxes with no problems. WOW all of the SEALED INTV boxes!!! My 2NC in Covington, LA wants $10 per Atari 2600 (opened) boxed games and don't have any sealed INTV games. Really nice collection of Atari games though.
