StormSurge Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 Hi! My name is Matt (but you can call me StormSurge) & I'm addicted to all things retro. :help: I just discovered this amazing forum last week thanks to The No Swear Gamer. I'm really looking forward to digging into some of these threads & learning new things!Although I've been around Atari (2600) since it's heyday, I'll admit I'm a novice when it comes to knowledge about the system. Just from reading things here & at AtariAge, I realize I know nothing. These days, most of my gaming is done on the Xbox One & 360 but my 2600/NES/Genesis/N64 all work well & I have a modest collection of all. I really need a new set of paddles but someday... In the meantime, enjoy this book I wrote in 5th grade, back in 1983: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz4aeMn8FwUbM3dQZmRyVTJpUlk/view?usp=sharing

Atari Adventure Square Posted July 23, 2015 Report Posted July 23, 2015 Hiya Storm Your book is made of awesome and brings back those years where the surging home video game wave lifted us above the tide, made us fly and wanna share the experience with everyone. Me personally, it'd be to intercept any person - friends, family, census taker - walking through the door and dropping an Atari joystick into their hand to get hooked. Your option to educate fellow gamers into better gameplay was more sound.
