HOWARD SCOTT WARSHAW DAY 2015

July 30th is Howard Scott Warshaw Day 2015! Howard was a game designer at Atari who was responsible for creating some of the 2600’s most memorable games. All of the games Howard created that were released by Atari became million-sellers. We’re celebrating Howard Scott Warshaw Day 2015 with a rewatch of the Atari: Game Over documentary on Netflix, complete with '80s-style snacks and popcorn. Included in this blog are a few bonus features and deleted scenes that didn’t make the documentary.

Awesome Justin! It gets very tough. I'm home from work with pneumonia for the week so i'll be getting in a lot of game time, good luck! :)

I wanted to "like" your post but I didn't want you to think I was happy you had pneumonia. Feel better soon & enjoy the bonus game time!

I'll attempt that game later but I won't come close.

The Retroist's Vic Sage, our friend and forums member, made a spectacular post to the Retroist Blog in celebration of Howard Scott Warshaw Day!

Vic's post introduces the reader to Howard and includes a look back at Yars' Revenge, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and E.T. along with the Atari: Game Over documentary and some other goodies. I hope you'll check out Vic's article and maybe take a look at the rest of the Retroist while you're there.

Yars will always be my favorite 2600 game. If anyone is up to the challenge, here is my high score on setting 6, switch on "A"  difficulty.

That's one hell of a score there Green! Conrgats!
