RickR
Here is an interesting little PBI board I bought on ebay that expands the memory of an Atari 600XL from 16k to 64k. That makes the machine essentially the same as an 800XL, but with the cute smaller footprint. Simple, no soldering required. Just pop it onto the back of the console parallel bus. This makes me very happy, but I'm not sure exactly why. I guess I just love the look of this smaller machine and now it can play all the same games that I'm used to on the 800XL. Here's a link to the ebay auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275347737562 (The cost for me was $30 + $10 shipping) And here's a few pictures of my machine in action.
