nosweargamer Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 I shared this on my podcast fb page, but was asked to share here, so here it is! This is from the third and final issue of Atarian Magazine, which was Atari Corps answer to Nintendo Power. It's not all the maps, but it still is pretty cool! Do you have more scans like these? I must give credit where it is due: I found these on atariage. I used to own all 3 magazines, but sadly don't have them any more, but I will see what I can find! Arenafoot Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 I have that final issue of Atarian (missing the 1st 2 issues). That is the only maps they show for Dark Chambers (pg 16-17). Coincidentally, there is a battle strategy article for Xevious (7800) on the next 2 pages. Rowsdower70 Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 I dig it! Dark Caverns is fun times. I really had no idea Atari was into its own magazines and walkthroughs like Nintendo Power! Arenafoot Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 I really had no idea Atari was into its own magazines and walkthroughs like Nintendo Power! Yeah. there were: Atari Owners Club Bulletin (2yrs), Atari Age Magazine (2 1/2 years), Atari Club Magazine (2 yrs), & Atarian Video Game Magazine (<1yr). All pretty much from 1982 thru 84.
