Espo Posted July 20, 2022 Report Posted July 20, 2022 Hi! I came across this site while trying to research these pins I found after my father passed away. He must have gotten them from my uncle that used to work at Atari in the 70’s and 80’s. They seem to be in the original packaging and in perfect condition. Can someone please direct me to a resource to help me value these? I’ve looked online and found a couple on eBay for $80-100. I’m not sure if that’s high or low. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks! TrekMD Posted July 20, 2022 Report Posted July 20, 2022 I don't think I've ever seen those before. Very cool! No idea about their valuation. Quote 🖖 Going to the final frontier, gaming...
chas10e Posted July 22, 2022 Report Posted July 22, 2022 Pretty cool, I found this: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/atari-collector-pins-todays-score.278410/ If you search for "completed or sold" listing on E-bay you might get an idea of what they actually had sold in the past for. Looks like a Centipede pin went for $22.00 + shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/144423945829?hash=item21a0568665:g:yjYAAOSwxOBiEXgS Sorry for your loss of your Dad, was he an arcade operator or salesman Perhaps when the weather gets cooler start a sweatshirt or jacket with one of each of the pins on it as a memorial It looks like in that KLOV forum someone may be still looking for a couple you have but that was in 2016 :o chas10e Quote
Atari 5200 Guy Posted July 22, 2022 Report Posted July 22, 2022 If it wasn't expensive I'd nab a Tempest one. Those are way cool. Quote
