Sabertooth
Another 7800 sd cart enters the ring. This time it's the RetroHQ 7800GD. If you're not familiar with RetroHQ, he's the person behind the JaguarGD and LynxGD. By the looks of it, thus is the most full featured 7800 SD cart - and peripheral - ever! socrates63, RickR, TrekMD and 1 other 3

RickR
"GD" is a good name for this thing because that's what I exclaimed upon reading about it! We'll have to keep our eyes open to know when this becomes available for purchase. DegasElite and Sabertooth 1

Pretty much just the power, CPU, controller logic functions of the console. The video output is simulated based on the cartridge data being executed. It works similar to how Krikzz Famicom RGB blaster cartridge works providing RGB from a Famicom without console modification. That is also how all of the audio options are able to work as well. It will be a very impressive device once released and that release time is near. One word to mention is that the RGB output is just that RGB output only. Even though there is a Sega 9-pin mini din being used, it doesn't provide composite output and instead has c-sync on that pin so that other cables can be used that need it. Like HDRetrovision cables and the Rad2X for instance. Sabertooth
I use an HD Retrovision Genesis cable for my Jaguar through a RetroTink 2xPro. Total game changer. It will be fun to play with this. DegasElite and RickR
socrates63
Wow! RGB via the cartridge! That's definitely a selling point for me. I just got a Sony TV which has been modded for RGB input. Sabertooth, DegasElite and RickR

DegasElite
I don't know if it is ready for sale yet. It looks like SainT is searching for third-party retailers at the moment.
TrekMD
I've already found a page that will be selling them: Atari 7800 GameDrive DegasElite 1 Quote 🖖 Going to the final frontier, gaming...
CrossBow
They will be available through Stone Age Gamer as Trek linked above, but they will also be in the AA store as well in time. I suspect they might be cheaper in the AA store for those willing to wait. I've added my email of course but not sure if I will be able to get in on the initial batch of them once they get released to the masses.
