Sabertooth Posted April 20, 2024 Author Report Posted April 20, 2024 Casual gameplay of Jr. Pac-Man for the 7800. This fantastic homebrew by Bob DeCrescenzo (AKA Pac-Man Plus) faithfully recreates the 1983 GCC developed arcade game. I love this version. It's even better than the official 2600 port. Played with a Trooper because the CX-40+ wasn't up to the task. I really want a gated 4-way stick for this and the other Pac games. sramirez2008 and TrekMD 2 Quote

Sabertooth Posted June 29, 2024 Author Report Posted June 29, 2024 (edited) Casual gameplay of Food Fight for the Atari 7800 on the 2600+. This GCC developed arcade port is among the best of the 7800's launch line-up. Played with the new CX78+ gamepad. Edited June 30, 2024 by Sabertooth sramirez2008, RickR and TrekMD 3 Quote
Sabertooth Posted June 29, 2024 Author Report Posted June 29, 2024 I'll add that this reissue is the biggest overall improvement from the original release. RickR 1 Quote
Sabertooth Posted August 17, 2024 Author Report Posted August 17, 2024 It's been a terribly busy month, but I've finally been able to play some 2600+! I recently received Carrot Kingdom from @Jinroh and thought it would be fun to do a play through. Here's the full game on Easy. Instadeath on the lava level is keeping me from the Carrot King on Hard. 😉 Played on a 2600+ running experimental firmware 1.1x-r6, using a CX78+ gamepad. Jinroh, TrekMD, RickR and 1 other 4 Quote

Awesome game, the person who made this one is probably really cool. 😛 Seriously though, great playthrough @Sabertooth. I wonder if the firmware setting needed to be put to phosphorous mode to fix not capturing the two colour flicker correctly. Just glad it works on the 2600+ I was wondering about that, though I figured it should since it's just a simple F4 bankswitching cart. 😄 Edited August 19, 2024 by Jinroh Sabertooth 1 Quote Free to download--> Carrot Kingdom™- - Released 5/11/2021
