Rowsdower70 Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 A friend of mine is looking for a free alternative to Windows Movie Maker for editing and formatting videos. Anyone have some free recommendations? "For you - Rowsdower from the 70 - have been appointed Omnivisioner of the Game Grid." ~ Atari Adventure Square
StormSurge Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Sorry, Mac guy here. iMovie serves my modest needs perfectly.
MaximumRD Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 I use Cyberlink Power Director but that is not free, well not technically Perhaps this might do? https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=26&v=CyJGcATaCs0 Description: Ezvid is at the top of the list because it’s free, fast and super easy to use. Just open it up, drag and drop your media into the timeline and start editing. Ezvid has built-in screen recording, voice synthesis, webcam, facecam, and lots of other cool features. You can add text, effects, narration, and music to your video with just a few clicks. Best of all, when you’re done editing your video, you can upload it to YouTube directly from ezvid. It is by far the easiest and most attractive free video editor you can find. leolinden Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Max, don't EVER use EZvid. They make money by making you put music in which they own in there, their "white noise" option that has no sound still has a little sound. They claim the music as their own and take all of the ad money. I don't even think you can save it as a normal file even so. Retro obsessed dude

VectorGamer Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 I was looking for a free alternative to Movie Maker and I couldn't find anything. I wound up buying Sony's video editing software. ⚠️ THIS MEMBER HAS BEEN BANNED FOR THE FOLLOWING INCIDENT: http://forums.atari.io/index.php/topic/475-theretrocade/?p=7683
