Someone sent me a link to a neat (unlisted) YouTube video on a TMS9918A replacement using a Pico Pi.

I wonder if anyone will ever replace the TMS9900 CPU?  It could be the "Next Evolution" of the TI where you could have a "standard operating mode" for the purists, but an "advanced setting" to make the old TI do things it was never capable of.  What can I say, I'm always dreaming of "what could be".

... a thought just occurred to me.  While it can replace the 9918, it currently does not do all the other stuff an F18A does.
