There's a lot of fun retrogaming going on today:
- Intellivision Day 2023 (everywhere)
- Retro World Series at the Abilene Comic-Con in Abilene, TX (Twitch)
- RGLTV presenting the 2023 Coin-Op Classic (Twitch)
That's not listing the new monthly challenges both here at Atari.io as well as the EverythingC64 High Score Challenge for December, which is Mega Apocalypse. Oh, and there's the #MegaDriveChallenge and the #RBGHighScore challenge on Twitter/X.
What a month for retrogaming!

I played Wizard for the C64 this weekend as it's this month's High Score Challenge over at EverythingC64. Wizard is a platformer which will remind you of Jumpman (though it was designed by another company altogether). Your wizard, named Wilfred, can gain a spell every level upon grabbing a key which is also used to escape.
I posted a short clip on Twitter: https://x.com/retrowithmarco/status/1747104821667356866?s=20

This month's EverythingC64 High Score Challenge is The Cosmic Tunnels, released back in 1983 by Datamost. It's a fun, challenging game that can be frustrating at times, yet retains its replay value. I edited an 80 second clip of my PB run. Please check it out here:

Here's the Feature Run from Episode 119: Nondrowsy reclaims the TG record for Pole Position II (Arcade) Suzuka track with a thrilling run totaling 79,600. It was fortuitous that Nondrowsy was in the chat during the show, so he provided some commentary which I highlighted on screen.
