Save state the Nintendo Fanboy way!

I been thinking I would like to finish a game of Cybermorph but the no game save on real hardware than I've learned about what NES user did back in the day.

This is how we 80's kids solved this conundrum:

1. Pause game

2. Unplug controller(s) and hide them

3. Pray to the NES gods nobody touches the console.

4. Dinner, sleep, school, all the while praying you can start fresh ...

But the Jag is 30 years old, do you think a 30 year Jag could pull this off?
