Hey everybody. A little premature getting into this Club as I don't have an Evercade yet. Been checking them out and have decided to wait for the new handheld EXP to come out. I never thought I would like handheld gaming but it is just so convenient. I do have a question about the cartridges, is it the same cartridge for console and handheld? From some pics I have seen it looks like a pretty big cartridge.

Yes, I have lost many balls by not being ready for the serve. I like the push button to serve idea, I would even take a countdown like 3...2...1 and then the ball serves. I do find that my paddle will move half way across the screen at random times. Yes, very frustrating especially when you have a nice run going. I love the game though, even with some of these flaws. -
I love this update. Although I am no where near getting onto the online leaderboards. Haha The game just looks better as well. Not sure what was done, but it just seems to fit better on my tv and the graphics have a little more pop to them. Or it could be my imagination. 🤣

Yes, that happens to me a lot. I also find with these recharged games I usually do my best within the first few days. I just can't seem to improve on my score. 😕 What's with all the removed posts?

This game is torture! Whenever I play my nose or something on my face starts itching. Having to fight the urge not scratch and keep track of that ball is just plain torture!!! Haha It’s probably just in my head but it’s there damnit.

I agree. It just doesn’t feel right. To me it’s clunky. Like you said the amount of turning to go end to end. I switched recently to the modern controller and that takes a lot of getting used to as well.

I did notice a color change but wasn’t paying attention to the blocks. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Loving this game, don’t know why I waited so long to get it. Would love to know what all the power ups do, come on Atari at least put it on the games page on the website. Anybody know what the + sign power up does? I can’t tell if it does anything. Anyways done for the night, here are my first night scores.

I don't have this one yet, will pick it up this weekend. I have always loved Breakout but it never seems to work right without the paddle controller. How does the Classic Joystick feel with it? When trying the other Breakout games I always find the controls to sensitive or the movement not fluid. Not sure how to explain it. That is with using modern type controllers in the Vault or the Atari Classics on the Switch.

Looks pretty cool. With the power of the VCS I kind of wish the graphics looked a little better, but I get it is a homage to the 2600 and early Atari. I am interested to see what the "remastered classics" look like though. This is one that is going on my wish list.

I don't know if they have the rights to these, but I would love to see Battlezone or Berzerk. These other two would be really out there but I would love me some Cyberball and Gauntlet Recharged as well.

It's not bad if you have a big grouping of asteroids. The one I hate is the burst. It is short range and whenever I get it the damn UFO's seem to appear. They hover just out of range and shoot me!!! 🤬

Wow, that’s a big jump. I’m still trying to get back to my first night playing if 6k. 😢 Although Donut Dodo has been taking away a lot of my Asteroids play. Haha

Wow, did they up the difficulty this afternoon? I’m getting 3 - 4 ships on the screen at around 2-3k. I don’t recall that last night.

My high for the night. I don’t know how many times I hit thrust when meaning to shoot causing instant death. 🤦♂️

Just getting started with this one. Not a bad start. This weekend is going to an Asteroids and Donut Dodo type of weekend. 🤪

Looks like a great game, can't wait to get it. I understand the disappointment about leaderboards but to me it isn't a game changer. Hell, start a Donut Dodo high score thread and we can post pictures.

Congrats Joe! Black Widow just wasn't my cup of tea. Looking forward to the challenge with Asteroids, I think i'll fair much better with that one. 🤞
