Technically version 1.1 New is an alternate control mode where UP and DOWN control your base instead of A and B. Your mini ship projectiles also move with the d-pad so maybe a little gotcha there. Over the years I've noticed some clone systems and versions of the Mega SG firmware speed up the music. I've communicated with the Mega SG core developer about this. Game is the same: move your base vertically to avoid enemies. Kill a quota of randomized baddies to challenge a randomized boss. Defeat the boss to start a new wave with more demanding quotas and speed. Use chromadepth 3D glasses for depth! Red hues appear closer and blue farther away.
