It reportedly ran even smoother than the original Commodore 64 version, probably because 8-bit Atari computers have faster clock speeds than the C64. The original releases of GEOS were developed by Berkeley Softworks back in the 1980's. The company's founder Brian Dougherty will be interacting with GEOS fans over Zoom next week.
