Anyone tried out that unofficial 8-bit Atari port of GEOS (Graphic Environment Operating System)?

That unofficial 8-bit Atari port was released a couple of years ago.  It reportedly ran even smoother than the original Commodore 64 version, probably because 8-bit Atari computers have faster clock speeds than the C64.  The original releases of GEOS were developed by Berkeley Softworks back in the 1980's.  The company's founder Brian Dougherty will be interacting with GEOS fans over Zoom next week.

Mark your calendars:

Date:  Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Time:  7:30PM ET.  (Toronto, Canada).

Sounds like it's going to be fun!

P.S.  The organizer will be uploading a video recording to YouTube, ideal for those who can't attend the conference live.  This is the channel to subscribe to:  https://www.youtube.com/@TorontoPETUsersGroup
