  1. the history of atari says in the mud we will go. hope to be proven wrong, but that is the way its been for decades now. lance www.atarisales.com
  2. man, i thought i had it right. i need to try that again with venture. but on other protos i have, there are e-proms saying low on the left side. i will give venture a whirl and let you know. lance www.atarisales.com
  3. The commentary seems different at the end from the actual video; it's because we had to cut out part of the video. We forgot to adjust the contrast as you can see (the tanks are hard to see) and as we fiddled, the video got blurry. So, we cut that part out, and reused the first part of the video with the complete commentary. thanks for viewing, lance www.atarisales.com
  4. This demo for the Atari 5200, we think, was to be used to test joystick movements for the Atari 5200 controllers, as the joystick fire buttons serve no purpose in the function of the demo. thanks for viewing, lance www.atarisales.com
  5. agreed, at least jack had figured that one out. lance www.atarisales.com
  6. i feel that way about every game i release, its about time. can you imagine, the homebrew scene, has made jack look as foolish as he deserves to be. lance www.atarisales.com
  7. actually both of you are right, and i agree. i should not be to hard on the game, i know it was ground breaking at the time. i guess i am partial to the first person view in star raiders II, it always impressed me, but as games and memory expanded, i should know better. i used to carry a atari 8-bit 128k first person perspective game, i cannot remember it now, but it involved a asteroid, and it was impressive. lance www.atarisales.com
  8. atari was going to release a mini golf, but it never made it out. but i bet it was not as good looking as this one. so it looks like we got one coming now. lance www.atarisales.com

  13. plus we wanted to give the game its own unique name for the 5200 version. we toyed around with a few other words, and just the letter "X". i think we have a good name. peter is doing a good job as usual programming the game. lance www.atarisales.com
  14. here is our newest demo for the 5200 game "Secretum Labyrinth Xenogenesis". we will try to keep everyone updated as we progress. as you see, its going to be a awesome 5200 release. peter has put together a very good game here. there has been some input from others in our group, and some help in the conversion to the 5200. thanks for viewing, lance www.atarisales.com
  15. i will check mine with the trak-ball a.s.a.p.. then let you know. lance www.atarisales.com
  16. i might have figured out whats wrong with the second e-prom. i hope to report good news in a few days. lance www.atarisales.com
  17. been watching the fix on youtube, hopefully we have a winner. lance www.atarisales.com
  18. this one seems to play well, and look well. the explosion for the DDT is right on. no slowdown at all in the game, or jerkyness. the only problem i am having is that e-prom one copies perfect, i cannot get the second e-prom to copy at all. i will keep trying, otherwise i cannot release the game. so keep your fingers crossed. lance www.atarisales.com
  19. yes its a better start than most 5200 games. i like the opening screen also. lance www.atarisales.com

  21. we will be starting the beta testing process in a week or so. i cannot wait to announce these games when they become available. it was always my dream to port some of our games over to other atari platforms, it looks like those dreams are about to become reality. we will try to keep the atari community posted and updated with current information as it becomes available. lance www.atarisales.com
  22. here is my Atari 5200 Millipede prototype for your enjoyment. Asteroids part number is CX5248 and was planned for release by atari in 1984. this is an official original prototype that came out of atari and is not a reproduction game. atari had planned Millipede for the 2600, 400/800, 5200 and 7800. this was a very nice version of Millipede and was a huge improvement over 2600 Millipede. it looked just like the arcade and with the 5200 trak-ball it played just like it too. 5200 Millipede was ready to ship in 1984 with a lot of other 5200 games but Jack Tramiel took over and put the kibosh on it all. would this have been enough to entice 2600 owners to jump ship to the 5200? enjoy, thanks, lance www.atarisales.com
  23. we should be able to put it on a stock 128k atari xe e-prom super cart. lance www.atarisales.com
