    while i cant reveal my source or more info at this time, seems Mike and company are looking for a new board (since they have nothing) so IF they try to crowdfund something in the next weeks/months is because they bought a piece of hardware

    Maybe so, but there's not going to be a Kickstarter without a real prototype, and it won't be a very successful Kickstarter if people don't trust these guys.
