Chris++ Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 OC&GS was a paper newsletter from 1994-'99. It's been a website since then. If you like to read about old video games, you'll dig it!http://www.orphanedgames.com

Chris++ Posted June 1, 2016 Author Report Posted June 1, 2016 Thanks! If the articles get anyone to try out the unfamiliar games that are covered, it was worth taking the time to write them.
Chris++ Posted June 2, 2016 Author Report Posted June 2, 2016 Trust me, I really appreciated the time that went into those articles. They are superb. I really appreciate those kind words -- and right back at ya, interview king.
Chris++ Posted June 10, 2016 Author Report Posted June 10, 2016 I've completed a detailed article about the origins and qualities of Atari's Klax coin-op: https://www.orphanedgames.com/
Chris++ Posted June 12, 2016 Author Report Posted June 12, 2016 Superb stuff once more. Thanks for that. I appreciate that the stuff is even being read. Most people seem interested in videos these days, but I'm pig-headed enough to carry the literacy torch.
Chris++ Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 Well, again, I sure appreciate those kind words...you're certainly doing your part to keep the written word a valuable element of our classic-game hobby / fixation / obsession / awesomeness. That sort of thing was what actually persuaded me to allow myself to be dragged, kicking and screaming, to the Internet back in the mid-'90s (via my Amiga), after stubbornly thinking, This isn't like CompuServe! Well-written, sometimes uproarious articles about the "old" games, which weren't even all that old yet, could be found in abundance, and this shocked me. I could read insightful and entertaining thoughts on console and computer games that I had reckoned weren't being played by anyone on Earth but me. It's nice that that hasn't gone away entirely.
