The Professor
Can you imagine all of the cool stuff Atari could have done had they gotten more heavily involved in merchandising based on their popular games? Dan Polydoris/Chicago Toy Collector has put a great deal of thought into that, and created a "Classic Atari Action Figures" toy line to show what might have been. The games are based around four Atari 2600 classics: Asteroids, Missile Command, Space Invaders, and Yars’ Revenge. The action figures are really cool custom work by Chicago Toy Collector using Kenner action figure parts, and packaged in custom designed blister packs based on the look and feel of Atari packaging circa-1981.
