    What a depressing Valentine’s Day. It’s been so long since we’ve been quarantined. I imagine we’re all struggling right now. Hang in there; it’s almost over.

      We are snowed/iced in here.  We got about 6" of snow and ice, which is a lot for this area (especially in February!)  However, we have food, internet, TV, and video games.  All is well.  The snow should all melt this evening and tomorrow.  I'm going to go out in my AWD car later today to see how she does in the snow.  There may be happy cackling involved.  Or sailor-cursing if I get stuck. 

      Movies watched while snowed in:

      • Call of the Wild (the new Harrison Ford one).  Meh.  My wife liked it more than I did.  I thought the CGI dog was too fake.
      • The NYT "Free Brittany" documentary.  Interesting!  We are very familiar with conservator-ships in this family.  The coverage was fair and accurate.

      I heard that they changed the ending in new Call of the Wild from the book. That was the best part!
