  1. Sneakybox's Atari Recharged series has been a success, but this new paint job on an old Atari 8 bit computer homebrew was the most surprising game in the series. And... it may be the best!

  8. To the uninitiated, Baby Pac Man sounds like another derivative Maze Game that most people wouldn't want or need. But once you crack it open, you'll find a compelling hybrid maze/ pinball game where one has to master both to progress far. On a system that is king for maze games, this one may be the ultimate ruler of them all. Click the link for the review

  9. Today we review ole Bobby D's take on Cinematronics ancient vector game "RIP OFF"

    WHAT IS HAPPENING OVA HERE?
Your wife makes a friggin sweet Nacho Del Grande platter. Her Nachos are so tasty in fact, that you pridefully lay them out for your neighbors to see. Foolish boy. You live in a crappy part of town, but who knew your neighbors were pirates who have a sh*t ton of tanks at their disposal? Text your cooky best friend who lives next door, tell him to grab his tank... because those bastards are coming for your Super Bowl snacks and they hate hatred in their eyes and growling in their guts.

  16. Wheeze about to get nasty over at Atari 7800 Forever.com, cause we are diving head first into the guts of Hearty Manslapper. HMS is an odd one from the Atari 7800's resident homebrew B movie film director: Frankodragon... try mixing 1 part Martin Short's "Inner Space", 1 part independent college film project, 1 part Salvador Dali painting, 1 part internet argument and 5 parts bag full of guts. If you were one of the snow flakes that got all offended at my Hat Trick review, holy Toledo... stay far away from this one. (It contains the word sphincter)

    The review lives here:

I was excited to see a review of Wizard's Dungeon on the site. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the 7800 and NES era of games mostly due to the color palette used in many games of that era--very earthy and muted. However, I really want to try homebrews for the 7800. I'm glad I read the review. It was easy reading and provided the necessary information for me to make a decision. I will pick it up at PRGE.

  18. WOO HOO!

It took us almost two years to do it, but we finally have in-depth written reviews posted for all 58 7800 official releases on the site. Some of you may or may now know, but we did the same thing back in the double aughts on a site called "Cousin Vinnie's Atari 7800 Panoramic Froo-Froo". Back in the early 2000's, I wanted to make an Atari site that was less tech oriented, but more fun and approachable for potential new fans to the system. I lost that domain, and it was a shame that I let it go. But its OK now I guess because the new site is better written, has over 100 reviews total, features more articles and is more functional. It also includes all of the old applicable articles from the old site, too. Thanks to Crossbow and Silverback for helping speed up the review process with their great reviews. Because of them, I didn't have to play some real duds, LOL.

The last game review published tonight was Tomcat... and what is hilarious is that Tomcat was the last game I reviewed of the official releases on the old site. I had no idea it was until I checked the Wayback Machine. I hate those flight sims.

Now we will focus on improving formatting, correcting typos, reviewing homebrews, hacks, oddities, and creating new interesting articles, cheat code pages, and eventually converting these reviews to Youtube videos. Thanks to anyone that enjoys the site!
