Can you even use hyperspace with the classic controller ? I would rather use the classic controller because of precision

Yes, it's the return button on the Classic. I find it hard to get to in a pinch though.

I played a bunch with the Classic controller today (and the rotate control on). What a blast! I can't say I'm doing any better, and the lack of hyperspace is not good (I know it's there, but I can't push it in time). But it's very fun to play this way.

My understanding is that's the unique identifier for each player. You can actually change your name but not the number.
