I have both the Lynx I and II, by the way. I keep the Lynx I for collector's purposes, but I play the Lynx II exclusively. They are both still in great shape. It's a fun unit. The first time I had a Lynx was in the 2000s, but it and the games were stolen. Fortunately, I was able to replace the Lynx I that I owned and got a Lynx II as well. All the games were eventually replaced. Talk about being fortunate.
Anyway, it is a great system. It can display great colors and has awesome gameplay. Anybody with a Lynx is a lucky person.

Welcome to the IO!  I bought my own Lynx when I was in medical school.  I had seen the GameBoy but when I saw the color screen of the Lynx, I just ignored the GB.  Why would I play with a grayscale portable when the Lynx offered far superior looks!  At this point in time, I was more area of the value of game systems, so I started to get every game I could for the Lynx to have a full collection and I saved every box!  I never regretted getting my Lynx II, which I still own!

This is true. The Lynx is superior to the Game Boy in many ways.
Welcome to the club, Lynx15. I am sure you will enjoy this place. It's very friendly here. Thanks for posting!

Hi, I got the Atari Lynx for my 12th birthday in 1992. I was supposed to get the Game Gear but had a change of mind one's I saw it for the first time in Toys R US. I post a lot in Facebook in the Atari Lynx group page, well would love to hear the stories on how you got your first Atari Lynx.

I've had Atari cramps.  Usually from playing the Activision Decathlon.

This is cool!  I'm subscribed to a channel on YouTube that explains how the attractions work.  I find that fascinating!

I'm fascinated by pictures of the construction of classic theme-park rides, and I hope others are too.  A lot of these rides have been around for decades, so it's interesting to see how they made them so resilient.
I'm going to start with this one of the Maelstrom ride at the Norway pavilion at Epcot in Florida (opened in 1988).  It's since been updated to "Frozen", but the ride layout is the same.  You can kind of see the three levels that the boats take here.

The wireless controller and the games being released... really cool!  I knew Bob was working with them on something, so it looks like this was part of it!

Not mine, but it’s for sale over on AtariAge. This is a good price for a boxed controller with manual.
    Good luck!

*Wow* $80 just for the board? IIRC I paid $30 or $35 for my Pi 3+ board when it first came out at our local Micro Center. I added a clear case and a couple of other things. It runs Stella and for a while, was my main way to emulate Stella.
Hmm, I need to dig it out and update the release of Stella that’s on it.🤔

Nice pick-ups! I have Asteroids (cart only). You need the controller to go with it.
    Unicorn Galaxy looks cool.👍

Thanks. I had purchased several of his cart dust covers for my heavy and light sixers. He didn’t have any for the 2800 or Sears Video Arcade II, but I asked if he could make them. This was several months ago, but he got around to making them and I’m happy with the results.
My favorite is the one for my Vader.
